Olive Garden Peach Fresco

"I had a Fresco at Olive Garden last evening, and am estimating what it is comprised of. This is a work in process....might be posting edits as I perfect it. Join me in my quest for the perfect summer drink! I actually prefer club soda instead of the Sprite...and add a bit more than it calls for."

  1. Yum-o! I have been enjoying your recipe here since last summer, and keep thinking that I will post a review as soon as I get a picture taken of this (it is a very pretty drink) Maybe I'll try posting the review first. I have made this with fresh, seasonal peaches, and with canned-packed-in-pear juice-peaches. Maybe a more discerning palate would notice more of a difference than I do. I'd actually gotten to the point that I pureed up a few peaches when they were at their peak last August and froze the puree in ice cube trays, popping one or two out at a time into the shaker. The color is nice, the aroma is tempting and the flavor is smooth. I use seltzer, it makes a plenty sweet enough drink for me. Thank you so much for developing and sharing this recipe Cooks4_6!

I am originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota and moved to Ohio in 1978. It was quite a culture shock going from the city to living next to the Amish. I spend most of my time cooking, cleaning and caring for my four kids. I have abandoned cookbooks and now cook from favorite, wilted recipe pages and the internet. I fell in love with my Italian family recipes (Scavo, Rotella, Scalzo, Micelli, Grande, Gigliotti) and my Mom's homecooked meals.
