Yoo Hoo Chocolate Drink

"I found this in the Top Secret Recipe Book and wanted to try it because my husband and daughter drink enough of it to put us in debt. I personally don't get the attraction. Hopefully it is comparable!"

  1. My daughter loves yoo-hoo, I had her taste this, she made a ehh face, so I needed to tweak it. All together I added 2 more cups of water, 2 more heaping Tbsps neskwik chocolate, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. She drank a whole glass!

  2. Tasty drink! I don't drink YooHoo very often but loved it as a kid. This seemed to me a pretty good approximation although I think I will use a just a little less powdered milk next time. Make sure you chill before drinking or serve over plenty of ice to get the proper taste. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

  3. My kids LOVED this - and what a great way to get some calcium in their diet! We didn't have enough chocolate nesquik, so we had half chocolate, half strawberry......they drank it up FAST! Thanks for the great recipe!

  5. This had a really good taste, but the texture seemed to be very grainy like the chocolate mix wouldn't dissolve. Perhaps it was because I used a whisk instead of a blender. Either way, my children enjoyed it and that's all that mattered. Thanks for sharing!
